So decided to mess with the tmaxx after its been sitting for awhile. Long story short, the wire got caught in spur gear. Its cut, now can i just splice,twist, or solider it back or is the unit trash. Thanks in advance

Yes I would say soldering is the best way to go. If you can get a hold of some shrink wrap tubing and put that over the solder joint it ends up looking and holding up a lot better than electrical tape.
 
yea solidering sounds like my best option. Only thing is i dont own a hand held temp gun so ill have to hope it works. I got some heatshrink from some old pc's i could use.Its 110*f @11:30AM so I'm gonna pass on fixing it in my garage today. Thanks for the help:D
