Which .26 is it? They have made a few over the years.

Old version:

From the manual: http://www.dynamiterc.com/ProdInfo/Files/dyn0885-manual.pdf

New version:

From the manual: http://www.dynamiterc.com/ProdInfo/Files/ALLDYNEngines-Manual.pdf

Then there's the losi M26SS which is a different version, but guessing also a dynamite base:

And what are the proper settings.

It may not be the engine itself ,it could be the carb they produced in that year!

The new carbs that are produced now ,have a 3 meter screw ,an HSN ,LSN an a mix meter screw.

But what I'm hereing doesn't really matter ,you can get a factory setting in which is set on a rich fuel setting off the top ,
you still will have to fine tune the carb. off that rich setting!

That's the first M26, DYN0887
The manual I found for that had it as 3.5 on the HSN and 2 on the LSN.

Err on the side of caution and go 3.5 on the HSN and 2.5 on the LSN, then adjust as needed once you get it running.
