Is this a good kit for my pro 15 tmaxx. i would just like to know what yall know about this kit. Thanx

I currently have the dynamite conversion kit. There are two different kits though, one for the pro .15 t-maxx and one for the 2.5 t-maxx. They don't have much differences other than different crankshafts(threaded and SG style) and longer cvd's and such. Now if you are planning on purchasing this kit be warned, you are more than likely going to follow weak links in your drivetrain. You will have to replace particular parts that are too weak. RPM A-arms are a big upgrade from the stock arms. I also went through many diffs since switching from the stock small-block to a very powerful big-block.I eventually solved the problem by purchasing maximizer diffs and aluminum diff cases. now that you've got the drivetrain fixed for now, you'll notice that you've come pretty close to the end of your gallon of fuel. The pro .15 would probably run about 12-15 min. on one tank of gas. I recorded an avereage of 8 min. of run time on one tank of gas with the Mach 26(stock tank). I also had to gear up a bit and tighten the slipper a little more so the pegs in the spur gear would last a little longer than 5 min. Now all in all, I think it was worth all the trouble. My truck runs great and is quit strong now. If your curious, check out our videos at http://phatlip.net/video.html (my .26 Maxx is the monster truck with a black body) The video "summer bash" is my Maxx when it was stock, the other vids are the .26 T-maxx. Hope this helps.

I hate to be repetitive, but if you questioning whether you should buy it because of funding, you buying something that will require more funding soon.

The dynamite kit is a nice kit as far as 21 conversions go. But I suggest you rethink it, leave the maxx as a small block and save up for a MT that comes from the factory with a 21.

The maxx is a good little truck and is designed for a smaller engine. You may be able to get a kit and use a 21, but as Vince said, the drivetrain will suffer. I know mine did.

i also agree. i installed the dynamite .21 kit with a picco outlaw .26 and it has been an ongoing funding issue. the engine just rips stock gears apart. if you do it be prepared to invest a lot of time and money repairing and upgrading. when its done though the truck is insane!

As of now, I have $1,700 invested in my maxx. Just a little hint of what you might possibly get yourself into. If you must go bigger, O.S. makes a .18 that i've been hearing good things about, and it bolts right onto the stock T-maxx chassis.

thanks guys
is the os engine as good as they say it is
