Dying my E-revo Black

Just got done dying all the gray parts black on my brushless e-revo

Looking good, alot better than grey.
 
Lesson learned!

Thanks! I agree they should definately just come straight black like that. It was also a lot easier and took less time than I thought it would. I started the project yesterday. I did learn that you have to boil the water. First I tried using hot tap water and figured if it soaked over night that the soak time would make up for the water temp. I awoke to the rockers and chassis being a deep shade of purple. Got home from work boiled the dye and it was like magic 30 minutes later everything was black!
 
That black looks much much better than the oringial Grey
