Found in a dumpster why someone would throw it away is beyond me...

I'm sure many find thier way to the trash when someone dies and thier spouses don't know what to do with them. Some people think they outgrow them. Others find them in the attic ten years after their kids went off to college and toss them. Who knows, but a diamond in the rough is always a good find. :thumbs-up:

I stripped my Tekno ET48.3 of anything useful then stuffed it in my garbage, M2C chassis and all. I understand the concept of DONE. It was the 5x11x4 input gear bearing I was done with. I replaced it with a Kraton.

I've also stuffed a Proline Profusion in the garbage once, my son picked it out and still has it.

Next time you want to throw an RC away, contact me. I'll pay shipping and time and trouble.

You tossed a discontinued proline kit before whorizon bought them? I'm getting a pain in my chest. Think I need to sit down. 😮‍💨😟

Wow. Even after 3 catastrophic runaway crashes, I never gave up on my SuperTen. Immediately after the first one, early in the morning of one of our race days, I ran back to the shop, took the chassis apart, straightened the twisted chassis plates out in a monster vise, put the whole thing back together needing a few spare parts that luckily came with the kit, and finished the day. It took a few suspension and alignment adjustments to compensate for the new frame tweaks, but the car was way too expensive and much too much fun to just give up and throw it away. Plus, I felt like a super hero master mechanic after performing such a quick and successful recovery. When I could afford to, I ordered new chassis plates and put it all back to 'good as new' condition.

Some people just have way more money than sense, apparently.

I thought I was going to have a coronary trying to keep Proline running. The C clips would pop off and the diffs would grind themselves apart, over and over again. I came to the conclusion it was time to move on. I got a Tekno MT410.3 to replace it. I still own the MT.

A lot of people in my family go dumpster diving and we have never found anything RC related, especially hobby grade RC. Where are you looking ?!
I can't believe someone would throw it away, let alone a hobby shop just tossing out unsold RC.
Imagine just coming up on a dumpster full 🌝😮

My boy in jacksonville found a 1/10 erevo in a dumpster. I used to do scrap metal and dumpsters too and never found any. I got a couple minis and a couple tmaxx for 80-100 each. Clostest I've came.
