Hey...Just bought a Savage X. Cannot wait to start break'n her in. The weather just needs to cooperate now. Looking forward to many years of bashing and having a whole lot of fun.
Congrates on the purchase.

SOrry but tire glue won't hold it. You need to replace it all together. Nice try though

I know from the beginning when I used tire glue that it would not hold, but I was surprised on how well it held up I ran it for all most a whole tank jumping about 1 to 4 feet in the air about the 8 or the 10th jump it snapped:loser: . I’m getting a new part to day!

What I think would work some kind of glue that melts the plastic to gather, I don’t think there it such of a glue.:ponder2:

yes there is a glue like that its called gorilla glue ,that stuff is awsume ,and you actually use water on 1 side and glue on the other and it acts like a catalyst wit hthe glue and it like foams and stuff ,that stuff is strong as hell

I totally agree that gorrilla glue works. I snapped my lower a arm when i nailed a little stump at around 25 mph. I put some gorrila glue on it and its lasted for a month of hard bashing!!!!

I found a new problem with the savy, the engine has like no punch on take-off from a stand still, and I think the guy lied about how much gallons of gas it has had. It starts eazy start and runs good at top-end rpms it has like no Torque. I have gone around and around trying to tune the savy to pop wheels but it kind of sound funny when I give it full throttle is sound like it is over weight.

I have 2 years of tuning experience and it seem to me that the piston-sleeve it worn out.

Is there a way I can check the compression?

what gearing is on it ?
with the stock .25 i could wheelie sometimes but not very often
try gearing it 15/52 you will loose top end speed but will have loads of grunt

as for checking usage ,very hard ot tell with out tearing it down and checking the pinch ,do that by sliding the piston up into the sleeve if it stays say 1/8th inch from the top then its goo but if it goes to or past then the pinch is gone
either get a new P/S or get it repinch by osrocket
dealt with him a few times and had excellent results

I'm going to take a video of it so you can hear what I am talk about.

even when i pick the truck up of the ground and give it the gas it make that sound.

you should check out the clutch. If the spring's break or get week from overheating it will engage to early and not alow the engine to get to it's power range.

ill check that out thanks.

This is very weird I have but about 1 galon of has thruw the engine. And yesterday my truck like just came alive. I have been putting the engine threw hell, I have been driving it full throttle all the time and from some reason when I was driving my savy. I got my savy out, wormed up the engine did a couple of runs up and down the street at half throttle. wonce it was wormed up I send the truck really fare down the street all most so fare that I had a hard time seeing it. I brought it back at full speed and then I herd the engine rev higher then I ever herd it be for, when I got in back to me I turned it around and then I when to full throttle it and it flipped over. Now my savy will pop wheelie on command how weird is that. The guy that had it before me never got it to full throttle, the carb was set to about 75% throttl, I fixed that when I got it.

lol and another thing i just blew my rear diffs!! today
good thing the guy sent me with the truck the 4 spider mod:banana: and back to whealies::breakdown
