Congrats! Youll see a night and days difference between the maxx and the savage. For me it was like converting from a Cavelier to a Caddillac. Nice move, ya wont regret it. (Not your gonna have to change your nic..hehe)

I traded my 9t rustler for a savage .25 that is in very good Condition, it has 40 series Boe tie tires and aluminum tune pipe!

The savage has seen less then a gallon, so it has a lot of life.

I just can wait to smell that smell of nitro fuel again! OYA:banana: :wasted:
Its being shiped

I love my savage 25. In fact i was disappointed when i got my revo. Not very much torque or acceleration off the line. I am buying a RB 323TM today and throw it in my revo. Maybe then i'll like it.

I saw a savage X run the other day next to my jato. I got larger tires on my jato but i lowered gear ratio too and the savage actually caught up to my jato after taking off the line.i was impressed.

It was a fare trade. I had a lot of extras and mods and expensive batteries.

The guy wanted it for racing.

but its still a hell of a deal!!!

Here is a video of it when I had it on ebay.

The guy seen the video on ebay and wanted to trade.

good deal man ,but from the shape of the head it looks like it was run a little hot so be a little cautious when you get and check it over good
and also did he clean it up for you before shipping it?
that 1 put me in mind of mine when i got it ,but that brown caked on crap was covering 95% of mine lol

It was a mess, alot of oil but I got it clean up pritty good.

How can you tell that it was run a little hot?

I have had no problems with the engine at all and it runs like new, no problems with starting it , it starts in like less then 7 sec with the roto start after priming it. so fare the savage has had 4 tanks of gas and had no problems.

on the picture the bottom of the cooling head is discolored and all the caked on stuff inside the head towards the gloplug

when I was cleaning the engine, the engine had allot of oil and dirt on the head and crank case .

How Hot does it take to discolor the engine head?:ponder2:

I think the discoloring is just oil and dirt. Ill take a look at it again.
