Can a single conversion crystal be used in a RX that is dual conversion? I have a Hitec DCX RX and an Airtronics MX-3 TX. I incorrectly ordered a single conversion crystal set and want to make sure it won't harm the rx if I try it out.

It shouldn't harm the Rx but it will not pick up the signal from your Tx. Dual conversion crystals operate on a kind of side band principle.

Thanks for the reply niggle, I went ahead and picked up a DC crystal today.
