Hey, it's been a while and I thought I would drop in to say hello. It looks like the site has done pretty well since I last posted.

I missed you all, your stories and your jokes, but I moved and started my own business(been busy). I haven't even had the internet here until a few days ago.

My new neighborhood is full of nitro's and teenagers. I made new friends quick with the loads of parts I picked up from the members here, and the tuning & troubleshooting I learned from reading here.

Since I'm all settled in I should be around a little more often, especially since I broke out the Savage :)

I didn't realize how much I missed the smell of nitro in the morning :D

Nice to see you back again. I haven't heard from you since....damn I remember talking about your son when you were interested in buying a NIB Savage 25 from me!!! How is your son? Got any new RC's since then?

Glad to hear you will be stopping by more now.

Jon

welcome back it has been a while. good to se you back bro. did you recrute any of your new friends to rcnt??

I recruited 2-3 to RCNT but they're still new to forums and how they work. It's nice having someone to actually run with.
Glad to see you're still a regu;lar here Zandor :D

No new RC's just that buggy I've never bought the front shaft for.

The seizures my son was having all but stopped, the Brain doc seems to think it was an age/environment thing and they won't come back. They ran a ton of tests and found nothing out of the ordinary. He hasn't had one since the last time I posted about it (early srping) :D

By the way This is the buggy i have now. I'm missing the front shafts still. Anyone know if the 9.5 shafts will work? If so I'll order em, up tonight.. I figure you're a buggy guy Zandor maybe you'll know for sure.

I opened up an local antique store/ ebay warehouse. I buy and sell just about everything under the sun. It's a fun business, but it takes a ton of hours. Even after about 3 months we still really haven't opened to the general public.

We plan to have the front of the shop(retail) open in about 2 weeks.

Best thing about the business so far... I picked up a pac-man arcade game at work about a week ago. The kids say it's antique lol...but it's staying in my garage.

Thats great news. Bet you will come in to things that a lot of kids think are "antiques" but to us a great memory. I remember playing those games. I see them from time to time and drop a quarter in them to just reminisce.

Hey lykan if you can get a Roughf measurement. From the back of the center diff cup to the back of the front diff cup. we will be able to locate you a new set. do you have a. do you have a dial caliper? if not just try to get close

I forgot to give you the link to my buggy thread with pics.. I'll give you the link here, then go measure :DHere's the buggy link with pics

from the back of the drive cup (break area) to the bearing on the front diff its 3 and 5/8 inches. If that helps.. so the bone might be 3 1/2 or so...

The shaft on the front is rounded with a flat spot, and I nee d a cup for that.

well i just spent the last 45 miniuts looking for the dog bones.and will keep looking for them lol iam on a mission now.so if it 3 1/2'' long it will be 89mm bone. the drive cup should be pretty standered.I will find them

Could it possibly be a dogbone on one end and a cvd on the other? I really wish I knew the exact make of this buggy

I dont have a rear wing just a mount, for the wing. And I need to know from what part of the skid to measure.

Sorry it took so long to get back.. been working my tail off.. uhhg..

Anywas from the front of the skid tothe center of the wing mount is almost exactly 14 inches.

Thanks for all your help Zandor, greatly appreciated

No problem those dog bones will work for you there 88mm 90mm front and rear.and the mbx diff cups should work for you also..LMK how it goes

Ordered up I did. I'll let you know how they work out when they get here. Thanks again for all your work.
