what is the best most reliable drop in engine for the nitro rustler 2.5? (with no mods)

wow what is wrong w/ the 2.5? its in my tmaxx and 2.5r in my pede. they are both properly tuned and they run like hell. i love those engines. plus traxxas has the life time replacement plan. turn the old one in for a new one. can't beat that! even for my pede thats too much power!!!!! might move the maxx to an os18 but not until the 2.5 is wore out just my opinion

traxxas trade in program is a joke, send them your worn 2.5 & $100 and they will send a new 2.5

or for less than $100 buy one off ebay & sell or use the old one for parts

i would think that is plenty. my pede was clocked at 53mph by the police thats fast enough for me! and that a single speed. os is another great engine.

not touching that 1 ,
as for a hop-up mill for you the OS .18 is an excellent choice but you wil never keep your front wheels on the ground ,it is awsume

it was 54 mph in the other thread.. Just ignore that B.S.

I'm with the others with the O.s. mill. I've had them in my Rc10gt's and really like them. Easy to tune, easy to hold and tune, and really hauled some beans. (I had the .15cv-rx)
