Hello. I have a team associated gt2 and I was wondering if t is okay to drive in sand and dirt. Will it ruin the engine?
Thanks

No, but make sure you got a good air filter.

Is the stock air filter okay or should I get an aftermarket air filter?

Yes these things are just fine to run in dirt and sand, and yes the stock air filter will work just fine. Make sure the air filter is oiled before running in dusty conditions.

You can run it in dirt and sand. I would think that the stock air filter would be fine but i have heard motor savors are the best but i would run it as is.

i have never had a prob running stock air filters

Just be mindful that sand has a tendency to get into the bearings and whatnot, so you may have some cleaning in your future. If your running an oiled filter, your only concern in sand is load on the engine. If you run in a lot of sand (beach... desert...) you may want to adjust the gearing to be a bit lower so the engine doesn't have to work so hard.
