'Evening gents...

First time poster, long time reader. A quick question about lubing drivetrain parts (I have an AE MGT 8.0, but it applies to just about all RC's). What is the best to use? My manual says "lightweight oil", but after a while, the CVA's, dogbones, ect. get gunked up, especially after dusty sessions. Air comp. gets most of it off, but I'm thinking there has to be something better, maybe silicone or teflon spray? What do you guys use? THANKS IN ADVANCE!

i use LPS 1 its a greaseless dry lube works great! You can order it through fastenall or and bearing place. JT

I normally use a dry molly-B lube. Does not attract dirt much...there are quite a few good dry lubes. I have seen some people use the same dry spray lube for dirt bike chains. Does not hurt to get creative!

Hey guys, thanks for the good ideas! Especially the bike chain lube. I'll check my local hardware store for the graphite, and if no luck I'll bite the bullet and shell out the additional bucks for the White Lightning. I use to be a competitive cyclist, and am familiar with the stuff... it's not cheap. But then again, good lube is cheaper than CVA's (if you get my drift). THANKS AGAIN!:D:D
