So I don’t want to get into competing drifting or even on a track I just wanna have some fun inside my house and I was wondering if I just put those like hard plastic tires on any onroad rc it would drift also should I choose awd or rwd for drifting and would it work with something off-road like a slash

drifting an rc is the easyest on 4wd and i dont think any drift tires fit a slash but if you tape invisible tape to the slash tires it wil drift too

So if I put either slippery tape of drift tires on anything 4wd it will drift on hardood floors, street/parking lot, concrete floors?

Yes but how more slick the surface is how easyer it is to drift and drift tyres are a lot better than tape but it wil work too

K

will rwd work for drifting tho? And can I drift in a parking lot

Rwd wil work but you need a lot of steering angle otherwise you wil just spin out and a parking lot wil work to But i think its a bit to rough but give it a try

If you want to drift, just take the tires off and run it on the rims. You can shave the edges off the rim to make it a flat surface. a 2wd will not drift. You will just sit there and do donuts. It's just like drive a 2wd on loose dirt. It takes a particular amount of traction and throttle control drift a 2wd car. You have to be able good enough to know how to feather your throttle. 4wd, you just gas it and go. The front wheels will pull the car and keep it from doing donuts.

so a mini z rwd won’t work

it will work, but you will have to get really good at throttle control, which can be really hard due to you not being able to feel the car. You only able to see it. I've tried it many times. I can do it in a real car, but you can feel how a real car is moving.
