Was just wondering what kinda blue oval bucket he was so impressed with? Nothing personal, I like to BS about 1.1 just as much as rc! :alarm:

The Paris AL2000 is a pretty quiet pipe. Also if you do use an exhaust deflector it will drop the noise a little too. You could also put one of these on your pipe's stinger and run the other end out of the back (rear exhaust). It will definitely quiet your engine down.

Wow thats cool! But would be a bit stupid haveing a stinger sticking out your car and a pipe in that going back in the car!

Haha... nevermind man, we could sit here and argue all day  just messin' with ya. Love adding fuel to the Ford/Chevy argument... just plain funny. My Ford isn't any little pony, I can assure you that though, I wouldn't talk if I couldn't back it. :jet:

I think the whole noise law thing in New York City is crazy. I've never been there, but I would vote Bloomberg out. If you don't like the city, move the f out. I think these kind of laws are an infringment on our freedom. Nobody tells you to live where you do, and I can understand respecting the neighbors, but between the hours of in my opinion 0900 to 2100 I can't see where they could hardly say anything. Unless you live in one of those "can't mow your grass on sunday" areas.

By the way, I have two blue ovals. One most stock, and one mostly not. Neither are race cars, but the mostly not one is a respectable street car with many little bow ties under its belt.

Incase you were wondering!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:naughty:

:nono: I would give anything for a smilie pissing on the blue oval about now.:nope:

That's nice.

Too bad you'd be playing catchup the whole time and wouldn't even have a shot in the dark at it.:duff:

:OT: Hey, gimme a break on the Ford/Chevy argument. Start a new thread. I gotta '68 Camaro with 454 fuel-injection, Lunati, SRP, Comp cam, 4-speed, 3:73 posi, etc, etc. I can beat plenty of Fords and I'm sure there are plenty of Fords that can beat me. :OT:

This thread is about trying to find a quieter tuned pipe.

I totally agree man, that's why I tried to stop it a couple of posts ago... really bro, let's just drop it. :boxing: :whack:

The JP-1 is quiter than the stock pipe that came with my Lightning Pro 2 with a VZB.

Just to egg-on: F irst

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CVEC pipe is absolutely the quitest pipe around. At full throttle barely audible.

I suggest like others have said, a dual chamber pipe with a baffle. I would also use a carb restrictor as that cuts down on noise believe it or don't. Defelectors seems to just direct the fuel so it doesn't get all over my car. I haven't had much luck using them to reduce noise.

They mainly deflect the oil from getting the rear drivers side of the car nasty yeah... but they do in a way cut down on the harshness of the noise... probibly mainly because it redirects the sound towards the ground slightly, or wherever you aim the deflector.
