hey guys do you mind if i show you some MORE trucks I'm interested in on ebay..sorry i need a savage like NOW! lol

but really wanna get a good deal ya know?

i would love one for racing and bashing but bashing mainly as thats what i will be doing until i get into the racing...when i say racing i mean just driving it on a racing track with friends.. the track is huge with huge humps and dips etc.. so i would need one that can take jumps quite well...

ok 1st one is here..seems to have alotta alloy.. plus i can go pick it up.. but pictures are crappy..and its already at £220! oh its a 4.6 though!

sorry forgot to ask.. whats wrong with no.3 has the alloy piggy back suspensions,steel spur gear etc..
 
#4 for sure, that looks like a well kept truck with the right hop-ups on it. I am more of a function over bling kinda guy. #3 does not look bad to me, the body is rough, but the truck looks good. Savages are really harsh on bodies. I destroyed several brand new ones in one day of bashing.

LMAO....I'd much rather hear that from you, than any of the other members.

Tough call on 3. It just strikes me as beaten. Maybe it's the dull and dented pipe held on by an untrimmed zip tie.
Just my opinion, but it wouldn't be on my list compared to the other 3.

I'll have to agree with the great Rolex. #4 looks great. Nice and clean. #3 looks like it's been kicked. My only concern is why #2 doesn't even have a bid yet. It's a decent looking set, but for some reason no one has bit. Weird. Anyway, good luck. Keep an eye on #4 might be able to get that one in your budget.

thats what i was thinking! i think he has one bid now for 99 pence... it is weird... hmmmmmm

as for no.4 i could have got that for 300 cuz i called the guy and thats how much he said he wanted and he would deliver it..but that is alot of money.. but i'm thinking maybe i should have just got it while i had the chance.. like you all have said it's in great condition.. ohhh poooo.

i was thinking about that no.3 maybe cuz he's put shipping as 30 pounds which is a little steep.. he hs no bids?

edit to say i'm glad i listened to you guys... seems as if no.3 has 2 accounts and was trying to bid up his own truck... i think this for 3 reasons:
1: his user name is kelkelthegirl. winning bidder on his truck was numbers then kelly (kel=kelly)

2:both seller and winner are from Essex

3:as soon as item was won he re-listed.!

so if i bid i would have been stitched up!

Sounds like he was "shilling" his bid. eBay has a strict policy against that (or at least they used to... Since they changed their policies, I doubt they still have that rule). It would result in a ban and de-listing of all the items by that seller.
 
Yeah, #4 is the best of the bunch and since #1 is gone, that leaves #2 as the only other "real" option. I'm with these guys on #3. Looks like a bunch of bolt on junk, nothing really of substance.

#2 looks almost stock though, aside from the wheels/tires on it. The pipe is the stocker composite pipe from older savages. My gut says it may have not started life as an X. I thought X's came out with only the HPI polished pipe (like on #4), but I could be wrong.

#4 looks very pristine. I don't know what £300.00 is in USD. If you could convert that for us, it may help us tell you if it's over the moon or not. With all the stuff that's included... it's a heck of a listing. It really does look almost new. Even the header isn't discolored a bit. Usually a tell tale sign of usage. It also has the throttle linkage mod to make it more durable and better to adjust. The only thing that is suspect is the fact that he has two of the same engine... the one in the truck looks new. The "used" one definitely looks used... but I don't see how with how flawless the truck is. Unless it was from another rig. Maybe ask him for a close up shot of the bottom of the truck so we can see the wear/tear on the skids/chassis. From the top, it looks almost new.

I bought my X brand new, and it came with the composite pipe. I upgraded to the polished.
