what does it mean when you have a distorted glow plug? how do i fix the problem? and keep that from happening again?

A distorted plug means your engine is too lean. You need to richen it up 1/4 turn and retune from there.

mainly the high speed one but you can also tweak the low speed one just a tiny bit if it dont make your engine run bad at mid throttle ...just for safety's sake

i didnt check that mail today. i will tomorrow I'm sure it will be here by than. I'm dieing to go race around my complex and get all the old people mad lol

Hehe. Make sure you richen it up so you won't burn up another plug! You might want to go out and get a temp gauge.

i sure will. as for the temp gauge, I've been using the water method to make sure I'm in the 200-210 range till i get some cash.

 that method works well. Definitely not as exact as a good gauge but it still works. If you're looking for a temp gun I have the tempgun.com PE-1 and it works pretty well. Has min/max functions. There's one from OFNA that has a lap timer and backlit screen but that seems excessive to me.

yeah ill just be looking for a cheap one till i get some extra cash. how much is that one you were talking about?
