Well i figured id start my build tonight. Been trying to rush home since i got it.

Update. Springs and links are done and bolted to axles. Next up is trans.

Well its like i just don't want to stop!!!! Got the tranny together and frame is together. As of right now I'm installing the axles to the chassis. Sorry pics aren't the best all i have is my phone.

Well i just couldn't stop until the roller was built lol i wish i had another one to do. The front axle might need a little more grease. Prolly take it back off in the morning and put more on the gears. But man it was a blast to build! Still have to paint the body and mount the roll cage and fender flares.

Also any ideas on a motor esc combo? I'm gonna use the Traxxas waterproof servo. I want it to be completely waterproof. Maybe xl5 esc? Not really looking for speed.

Made a roof rack today (out of spare plastic from the kit) to hold my sleeping bag and tow strap.

I'm really looking forward to this one. I've been wanting one for a while now but just didn't have the finds. I'd really like to become good with styrene and build a body but i don't see that in the near future lol

Well I've been lurking around on the internet and decide to try and make a body for my scx10. I'm going with the early 90's chevy 1500 w/t one of my favorite body styles.
Heres what I'm going off of.

My first attempt at my cardboard sketch. Don't laugh to hard now lol.

I didnt like it. It seemed to big.

Now my second attempt. And again, dont laugh to hard.

I feel a little better about this one. Now with this being my first body build i know its not going to be a 5 star body. so just bear with me.

Not much done since. Picked up a waterproof xl5 esc. Waiting on it to arrive. I'm looking to do some more upgrades just dont know what to do next.

I plan on a winch but first ill have to get a receiver with more than 2 channels. Right now all i have is a 2 channel traxxas link 2.4

Nice, but I liked the Orange/Black better

Since it is orange under that, make sure you spray that color VERY VERY thick, because if you aDD DECALS AND WHAT HAVE YOU THAN NEED TO REPAINT WITHIN MONTHS WITH A THIN PAINT JOB YOU WILL HAVE A HELL OF A TIME MASKING IT ALL OFF..
