why do you have to do this to me, now I want this........ would be sooooooo much easier to mount than an entire dig setup with switches and a servo.

lol exactly eddie, exactly, smaller and lighter too...

Is that for use with one ESC or Two ESC's, just kinda confused as to how it would cut power to one motor or the other only using one ESC.

Never mind I read and looked a little closer, that's a pretty set up....

one.....i dont think you need dig with two esc's since you will be running a stick radio like a dx6 or something and just stop wich ever motor you want by letting off the contolls.

Unless you have Novaks new electronic dig for dual ESC MOA rigs.

CAN YOU DIG IT?

Novak’s progressive and cutting-edge engineering has found its way into the crawling segment with the first electronic dig unit: The Dig (#5450). This one-of-a-kind and easy-to-use unit allows crawlers to independently control the front, rear or both speed controls in dual-system rigs. Powering only the front or rear on a rock-crawler vehicle – commonly referred to as a “dig” – allows for tighter turns, precise maneuverability through tricky terrain, and more control on steep inclines and downhill descents, reducing the amount of reverses needed to clear obstacles.

Unlike mechanical dig systems, The Dig does not require any vehicle modifications to install or operate. Simply plug it into any three-channel surface receiver, and you’re ready to dig! And without any moving parts, the electronic Dig is exceptionally durable and can withstand all rocky landscapes.

Plugged into a crawler vehicle’s receiver, The Dig is compatible with any Super Crawler dual-system rig, such as EnRoute’s® Berg™, Integy’s® Super and Unlimited Class of crawlers, and Clod Buster®-based vehicles. Two different-colored LED indicator lights – located at the ends of six-inch harnesses for easy and countless installation possibilities – visibly display when a speed control is locked and ready to dig. The Dig is easily programmed into most three-channel transmitters, such as the Spektrum® DX3R DSM2 3CH Surface Radio™, Airtronics’® M8 and M11 R/C Radios™, and a Traxxas® (TQ-3) Transmitter™.*

Alternatively, The Dig is compatible with crawler rigs with independently controlled steering for effortless navigation.

The versatile Dig is ideal to use with any dual combination of Novak crawling systems: Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/Forty-Five Brushed Motor Combo (#1843), Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/Fifty-Five Brushed Motor Combo (#1842) and Goat Brushless Crawler System (#3019).

THE DIG FEATURES
Independently power the front or rear speed control in a dual-system crawler vehicle

The Dig is small and lightweight, helping to retain a balanced vehicle

One-Touch Set-Up™ for quick, easy transmitter setup
Universal JST Input Plug for Ch.2 and Ch. 3, which fits all popular brand receivers

Designed and assembled by Novak in Irvine, Calif., using globally-sourced components
