What brand of paint to you guys use?
I was looking for some Tamiya spray paint at the closest "Hobby" shop to me (Hobby lobby) but they didnt have any tamiya paints. They didnt even have any Tamiya models.
The did have a different kind of spray paint for model cars. It was called model makers or something like that in black cans and was vehicle brand specific (Ford, AMC, Chevy, etc.)
I was wondering if anyone has ever tried these?
I wanted to get different opinions before i drive to the other side of town for the tamiya paints.
Thanks!

Enzo ferrari,Mercedes Benz clk, Honda NSX and Mazda RX-8

Probably starting with the enzo though since it doesn't have a wrapper. I wanna do the traditional red. something not too difficult for my first paint job.

He meant a Lexan body or a hard poly shell. Model Makers brand is for hard shells or plastic models. Lexan bodies use Pactra or Parma brands which are designed for lexan.

Then you must buy paints made for polycarbonate (lexan) bodies Model Master paint is made for hard bodies. Tamiya has both so be careful when you buy it. I prefer pactra paint, but I use an airbrush not rattlecans anymore. Pactra's rattle cans are nice too though.
