Banshee, I normally run the transmitter 3-4 times a week around 1-2 hours each time. I normally charge the tx batteries once a week or so. I don't have a voltage read (stock tmaxx tx) so I just go by when the LED blinks for low battery. The batteries work great and save me tons of money.
Here are the ones that I have: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3037872113&category=14951

You can get 2100 nmih for a buck a battery and shipping isn't $7 like the $1800.

search ebay for "2100 nimh"

hmm.... I see 4 for 9.99; 36 for 49.99; 12 for 26.99.... none for anywhere near $1 a piece. +shipping

thanks again for all the replies.
gilbequick- seems that you get a good 5 hours out of your 1800's. thats plenty for me. I'm gonna pick up some 1800's on ebay w/ charger for like 20-25. 2100's are too expensive and not necessary for me.

I'm still debating whether to go with a hump pack or 4 AA's (1800 or 2100) for the reciever. I'm not sure which will last longer but it shouldnt be that big of a difference so i will prob get the hump because of the voltage.

thanks again for everyone who helped.

The voltage is notiacable. I could tell the differance with my crappy stock HPI Nitro RS4 3 Sevos.

ouch SGT....$1.50 is a killer deal....but then there's the $7.50 for S&H for 4 batteries. still, comparably so, $9 for 4 2100's compared to $19.99 for 4 1800's at Radio Shack is a good deal.

hey i have a ni-hm 5 cell hump pack only ran once then it died now this is my question... do i have to kill it all the way before i recharge it.... ( my fail safe wont let me run it any more so it is at 4.2 volts). or do i have to kill it? if so how? oo just in case u need this races-edge makes it and it is 1100 ni-mh. plus it only lasted like 10 mins in my car.

Be careful of the 2000s and 2100s on e-bay. They are seconds and will fail and dump rather quickly. Just like anything else buyer be ware.

I can get the first run bats for $2.00 to 2.20 each. This is my cost and will pass it directly to you guys. If you look at the bulk bats being sold on e-bay, they are coming from 3-4 people and they are getting them from the importer located about 2 blocks from me. I have the inside scoop on what they are dumping on e-bay. They are not what you think they are.

Let me know if you need some, again, there is no financial gain to me, just the satisfaction of knowing you guys are taken care of. Several people on this forum have purchased them from me and will vouch for my fast honest delivery.

:mex: I like em Eddy! They make my MiniZ zip zip all day! hehehe Damn things last a long time. Thats why I got 16 of em. No need to keep charging for a day of Mini-Z fun!

So here's a quick one for Eddy, are the batteries I buy from here:
http://www.nimhbattery.com/
the seconds he's talking about?

I mean I have had absolutely zero problems with the battereis I have bought from them and they have been going strong for over a year. Did I get lucky or are they good batteries?

i've bought batteries for my paintball gun from them. they work great. i think they are a good company and not what eddy is talking about on ebay.

eddy- will you be able to get those batteries for 2.00 for us whenever? like say in a few months if i want to buy some will you still be able to get them?
i bought an 8-bay charger with 8 AA 1800mah batts on ebay for my transmitter. it was like 30-35 bucks for the package shipped.
fully charged it only gets my jr radio up to like 10.6 volts but it seems to last long enough before dying at 9. regular AA's will get it up to 12 but i think they will wear out faster. never actually tried it though.
so basically i just wanted to know if in a couple months or so these batteries arent lasting long enough for me if you could get some 2100's or maybe even 22's for me from that place?
