Hey all, quick question.....

What's the difference between Futaba and JR receivers? I am looking for another receiver for my XR3, and I have seen XXL receivers for both JR, and Futaba. Any help? Thanks.

JR is positive shift, Futaba is negative shift. The only Futaba Rx I am aware of that will work with your JR is a Futaba R123F which is no longer made.

Other than the above exception, Airtronics and JR are positive shift, Futaba and KO are negative.

I discovered all of this on my own recently when I got an M8 and wondered why it was so damn fussy with receivers. Course for 7 years I owned nothing but Futaba so now I understand. :D

Oh, and I am waiting for an email back from Hitec about thier new HFS-03MM which is supposed to work with either. I want to make double sure before I buy anything else.
