Hi guys, I was wondering if you knew the difference between fm and am radios, does one have a longer range or battery life than the other or are they both the same. Thanks in advance

Battery life would be about the same in similar equipped transmitters.
FM will give you quicker response and longer range than AM. There are also more channels available with FM.
