Rolex, whats up with the copy/paste stuff? and my name?
Earlier in this thread, someone said your name was too hard to type. I'm trying to show them the easy way out. Copy/paste. No typing involved.

The hardness of spelling your name

No. The screew, could it effect the idleing.
Rolex. The seal is fine there. That is the reflection of light. I think i didn't put the carb back on tight enough.

hahaha.... If there is a screw missing in your backplate, then it may let air leak through.

No the screew that i put on to hold the cluch bell, witch i didn't need, rubbing against my chasy. The screew missing is not to the backing, but to the ez-start. I'm talking about the screew that i showed you in the image. Gosh it is not that hard.

Well you are telling everyone is that the screw that secures the clutch assembly to the shaft is what is rubbing? The screw that you circled is just that. Now youare confusing me. The EZ start is on the opposite end of that.

Hey, No need to be sarcastic dude... They are trying to help, Just try to be a little more clear. :)

The the screw that secures the clutch assembly to the shaft is rubbing the trany. COuld that caus e the idleing problems?

also do i need to put lock tight on the screews that hold on the back plate?

and also do i need to all three screews that hold on the ez-start to the back plate.

So today i got my RTV Silicone and i am going to apply it. i will cheek back with you tommarow. The seal isn't broken.

I would not put loctite on it just make it snug but not overtighten.

Yes You do need to put all three screws on the backplate to make sure that the EZ start works properly.

Don't get it anywhere else but on the seal of the backplate and the neck of the carb.

The whole neck?

No just at the top where it sits on the crankcase. Its vital that you make sure that is the only place it goes. ITs ok to have some ooze out when you put it back on but no where inside. As I said before a thin layer goes a long way.

ziptie for me works great and all you do is cut off the used portion and you are ready for another one!

Ok it is clean and been blasted with air. i am about to put it on. But i say somthing that i had to post. On the RTV silicone it say dont do drugs, then it is crossed out. It is a double negative. Now it tells you to do drugs.

Ops :jk:
these stupied things do sometimes become lawsuits. It is a crazy world.

Use common sense. Is this a drug? If it isn't and it is used for something other that ints purpose than it isn't being used properly.

so i have 4 min left until i atach it. Thanks for the help. I hope it works.
