Did you know that an armadillo is hard to kill with a .45 ACP? :((I'm not a good shot.)

Did you know that an armadillo can jump rather high?:hehe:

Did you know that even when shot by a small caliber rifle (17HMR) an armadillo will produce a lot of blood?:whhooo:

That is a good 7-8 feet up.

whats that, an ant eater? Really jumps that high?

I do know that a female badger with babies is scary as hell trying to kill with a single shot .22 though lol.

I thought armadillos where everywhere. They are like a Opossum with armor.

That was just the splatter but they can jump 2-3 feet, I know that don't sound like much but by looking at them I wouldn't have thought they could jump at all.

I have never seen an armadillo, except on TV I would have never thought they could jump!

Are they considered as pests? Just wondering why you shot it, doesn't look dangerous.

i have killed plenty of them. the easiest way is to get them with a 12g shotgun. i used 3.5" shells from about 8 feet.

It really tears up the flower beds worse than they could but its sure fun.

I used to just sit out and wait for them. their eyesight is horrible and they will walk right into you. Its their hearing that amazing.

Did you know that armadillos always have a littler of 4 pups of the same sex?
