dc charger ?

So I got my Losi limited edition aftershock today got a great deal I think, got the truck and the losi deluxe nitro starter kit For $400 no tax . Only think I dont really know how to power the dc charger, can someone please help me here maybe post some links of what I need. I was thinking a 12v battery but can't find one and dont wanna spend a $100 on a car battery our use my car battery and risk it dying on me.

You need to buy a power supply unit for it if you don't have a car battery to use. Something similar to THIS one. I am using a 14A Eagle Racing unit now.

Thank you. Thats kind of crappy though that I need to buy another $40 part just to power my charger. I'm thinking I just spend the $40 on a duratrax ac/dc charger I saw and use this one as back up when I'm out and the battery dies.

i use a black & decker booster pack ..works good for me ...they are not cheap ...but maybe you know someone who has some sorth of car booster pack

I got duratrax 12v power supply batteries just finished charging, of course at 11:10 which is to late to start thr break in so i gotta start the fun tomorrow
