i was out running my maxx today
1 tank and thats it thats all the stock axles took to totally twizzler twist to the point of not moving any longer ,never seen anything like thta before ,
guess i gotta break down and make it back into 4wd again and invest in some cvd's
this OS .18 cvrx is just totally awsume even after 2 gallons of fuel it still has as much power if not more then when i bought it
its just a torque monster ,
just thought i would share alittle of todays maxx adventures

I have seen the same thing lol on my Maxx and mine is the origianl .15 Maxx. I diddnt have the money either so I bought some axles on ebay for like 8 bucks, but with and O.S you might want to save your cash and upgrade to the cvd's.

Blah. Same routine for me this weekend. Leaned the Sirio .23 out a bit since it was a little cooler this weekend, blipped the throttle and that was it.... shredded both my front and rear center output yolks.

Picked up a set of MIPS for ~$45.
 
UE also makes some heavy duty cvds for us folks who are running high hp engines. :devious:
 
my right side looks like that ,but the left side is now U shaped and hits both shocks and will not turn at all...lol
and the driveshaft is also twisted 1/2 turn
so i am getting rd logic cvd's
 
Yeah sound like you need them, I was going to get a o.s .18 some day for my Maxx but I dont know if I want to put to much more money into it. I would be going through all the head aches you are with the drive train. Hopefully you dont blow out your diffs or tranny :doh:
 
RDLogics cvds suck... They are pretty damn weak. My friend with his 2.5 has some and twisted them in half... I'm amazed they can be so bad, but they are. I have some, and i am going to sell them before they break. They havent been used much, but i dont want to risk it. UE is for me!
 
I concur... rdlogics look nice, but don't stand up very well to abuse. I've run them on my maxx and my savage. The knuckle portion of it wears out fast. Less than a gallon and it's shot. At least on the center axles. The wheel axles last longer though since they don't take as much punisment.

MIP centers, RDL outsides wouldn't be to bad of a combo if saving $ is what your after.

Dynamites aren't bad, but MIP's are probably the best.
 
thanx for the advice olds ..
never gave it a though till i started running it in 2wd instead of 4wd and with the revo tires i just installed them things really bite on blacktop
