yea, i'd watch out. They say by the time it hits houston it will be a category 4. thats what i heard at least. Get your valuables from ur house (rc cars if u have room) make sure you get water and food. unless ur just gonna eat out until you move back in. All the hope to ya beason, wanna, and bustedgears!

wow, I didn't know it was getting that bad up there....cat 4 is nothing to sneeze at Beason....I highly doubt you will be as bad off as NO and that whole region.....they have the levies that are really more of the problem than the storm was.......plan early don't wait til the last min. cause suppliese will go quickly if they haven't yet.....get som oil lamps/lots of bottled water/ fill your tub before the storm/ bring in all loose objects from outside and cover the windows.......battery powered radio and a shotgun w/ lots of ammo (never know).....seriously though get your family safe before the RCs

well I'm not on the coast.. but I'm strate inline from the coast.. it wont slow down much befor it hits me.. i may not get anything more then heavy rain and wind but i would rather not be here if its bad.. i will prolly go to austin.. its out of the way.. but closer then arkansas.. I'm just packing cloths, bills and info, guns, and small vauables, (dont have much) oh and the dog. i doubt it will be bad here but you never know.. I'm on a well for water so even if its just no electricy i wont have any water.. but ill buy some wherever i go and bring it back ( noone has any around here) the rc's are going if i can fit them but prolly not.. ill keep in touch.. i plan on taking my lappy so i can get online.. thanks guys.. later!!!

I'm on a well for water so even if its just no electricy i wont have any water

you have a well and no generator for the pump when the electricity goes out, sounds like a good christmas idea

good idea.. !!! but seriously i buy gallons of water to drink because the well water sucks.. so i would still have some drinking water.. plus i got like a 200 gal pressure tank so i have a bit even without electricity..
