It wasn't a straight way into hobby grade RC for me really LOL. I was basically hot glueing and soldering aliexpress DC motors and battery holders for years and superglueing them with wood and lego blocks

I didn't have a phone back then so this is sadly all my footage. I posted all videos together on youtube:
About a year ago I used all the stuff to make a Hydrogen generator. So I tested for explosions once and never again. They turned out not to be so little😅 storing just the hydrogen might've been a better idea. Here's a pic of what it has gotten to:

It makes me think of a homemade science kit. I bet it was way more fun than those chinesium "science" kits you find at Barnes and Noble
Oh I went through a dozen of them as well LOL. My parents could find them almost for free at a second-hand shop (the previous owners never unpackaged them)

I just realized I have two more thingamabobbos that have always been laying on the top of my closet:
