Is there any way I can cycle my glow ignitor w/o one of those nice battery charger/dischargers? I left it plugged in for a long time and since it's a NiCd it won't fully charge now.

I heard that you can leave it in the freezer for 24 hours, then give it a nice good, long charge, itll b like new if the batt isnt too damaged.

i had the same question a week or so ago.. didnt get much answers.. figured i would try it.. took a charger i had and cut it up.. wired to the discharge blubs.. and drained them.. then hooked to the vision peak charger and it wouldnt charge.. just beeped at me a bit.. so i slow charged them.. I've only cycled them once cause of the slow charger.. so ill have to get back with you on that one..

If its worth the postage, here and back, my charger has a Nicad function that will erase the memory. I will use it and cycle it a few times and return it.

Seems as if it may just be better to get a new one.

its one of those if you gotta ask you can't afford it ones huh..

i clicked on order to see how much it was and all i got was a blank screen.. damn how they know I'm poor??
