Hey, what kind of Gear do you use? I'm really considering getting into photography and don't know what kind of camera I should get. Wanna help me out a little?

Ok well first thing I suggest is to consider what types of photography you plan to do. If you want to shoot similar subjects like me (girls, sports, RC)... I suggest the following:

Camera
Canon 30D, 40D, or 50D (50D being the newst camera out)

Lens
Canon 70-200mm (for sports and RC)
Canon 50mm 1.8 (for girls)
Canon 28-55 (for girls too)

Flash
Canon 430 ex II (for girls)

This entire setup could cost more than $2500. So if you want to go the cheaper route, let me know. I have other suggstions too.

Start out with outdoor photoshoots first because indoor ones are more complicated with the use of lights and flash.

nikon D60/D90 either one of those is going to run you some money and depending if you need long range get either a low to mid or be beast and get a 18mm to 210 lense. those things are crazy
