Does it drift around corners like the 1:1's do? They are building an oval track here, right next to the 1/10 and 1/8 tracks.

they can ... but most of the time ... thw rear arms have a " rear steer" that is adjustable .... usally you set the right rear at a toe out and the left rear as a toe in ... so as you accelerate out of the corner and the weight shifts to the rear the tires hook and push it out towards the wall .... then when you let off the throttle and the front sets back down the steering of the front overpowers the rear and is steered with the front

Wait. You let off the throttle? The 1:1 Outlaw cars always go balls out. Even on the little 1/4 mile track at Putnam Park. Those guys are insane.

just enough to set the front end down to be able to steer into the corner .... on a good car setup and good track we can actually 3 wheel it around .. it's easier to do with the late models ... but yes ... I've been hooked up good enough to pull wheelies down the straights

Yeah, I saw a few real ones do that too. Guys that let off too much in the corner and gas it as soon as she straightens out. One guy actually ended up on the top of the back wheel of the guy in front of him. They both got hurt.

i don't think ill be throwing a helmet at someone while on the drivers stand ...... might be a awkward walk back to the pit area ...... might be even weirder to wear a helmet on the Drivers stand ...... lmao ..... then again my wife says i probably need to be wearing one half the time anyway LMAO

If snowboard goggles are accepted, I’ll helmet that shiit in a minute for sure! The Stig!!

This may or may not be funny to some so I'll let you decide... my elderly neghbor used to drive his lawn mower with a spiked Geman helmet.
Some may consider this cautious and wise...
I think it was very dangerous!
EVERY TIME I saw him, I laughed until I was blinded with tears!
He could have EASILY run me down in my weakened state!

The ONLY thing I don't like about these is that you can't drive them home after you're thru racing!
The builds remind me of an old Ferarri open cockpit, open wheel race car with wide tires and wings, huge engines!
The lines those drivers seem to pick in split seconds timing seem TOTALLY impossible and are SURE to cause a crash EVERY turn! WHAT A RUSH!!!
Going into turns 3 wide with open wheels is lunacy!!!
