Hi guys. I have just done the brushless conversion on one of my CRT .5 and I need to order a pinion for the motor.
Can anyone tell me what the pitch on the standard NITRO spur gear is please.

P.s The reason this is in the nitro section is they are usually nitro and its the nitro guys that'll be able to answer... :surrender

The equation will be very handy but it doesn't help me in this case cause its still on the car and I dont want to pull it apart again to measure the diameter.
Thanks though, that info is excellent for future reference.

Lessen. It has what I would consider a 21p. Remembering its a 1/12 nitro, I have ordered a Module 1 pinion, but noticed they also have .7 and .5
Whats your opinion on which it might be?

P.S The pinion in that attatchment isnt a 33T like he said, its a 66

1/8 clutch bells use 1.0 module measurement. it's sort of like standard vs. metric. It's not on the same scale as say 32 or 64 pitch.

Thanks Lessen, although I had no idea about that since you told me I've seen it mentioned several times in RC Car Action.
I went onto Robinson Racing website and emailed them. They told me the CRT.5 is also a 1.0 module, (I thought a .7 at most) and can supply me with pinions.
Being a 3.5mm shaft on the motor I will need a sleeve too, which they can also supply.
Thanks for your wisdom, it put me on the right path...
