weathers been awesome, and I've been of work for a few days so have been in the creeks as much as possible lol
my excuse is I'm testing the trucks for BTC, but i really dont need an excuse to geet out in the woods tbh.
took my sons Basecamp, its really the only truck he ever wants to drive, probably becaus ehe considers it actualy his, i let him driv eit estruction derby style, but with all the others i try to get him to be more cautious.
it perfomed as it always does, absolute tank, and did pretty well as a submersible in a deeper section.
we ran no touch as much as possible, used the winch or the other truck to push them over.
i brought the redcat ascent tow rig with the duallies. thi sthing is a UNIT! so capable. love driving it.
i just wish it had a wider stance. i need to replace the shocks but again... they work so well lol, ii deed much stiffer shocks in the rear thoto help it to tow, once i get anything raised up I've squatted the rear down to the ground basically. it doesn't help that i chose my lightest truck to be my tow rig but here we are lol

Bro, that looks fun.

Bro, that looks fun.
it was a blast, i honestly can't wait till after BTC, then we are gonna REALLY test my waterproofing lol, gonna drive thru those deep spots!!

Alright Mr. Wild Camera Man, I felt like I was watching "Saving Private Ryan" for a minute there. 😜 🤣 you better get more practice before beat the creek.

I wish I had a creek to play in!

i tried printing a gamble to hold it steadier but it was waaaaaay too squeeky, I'm usually driving one handed holding camera in the other, when i strap it to the transmitter i drift and record lots of sky shots lol, been trying to talk the wife into going and being my camerawoman.

There is a reason I don't have many videos. 🤣

Sometimes I think I'm missing out only having smaller scale crawlers....I may need a 1/10 at some point
theres differences thats for sure, but the minis can play inside AND outside, i just have a real hard time working on the smaller scale stuff, we have a few and love em all, you definately need a few 1/10 for sure!

I got good trails around me for a 1/10. Got to find the right deal and it could happen.

ascent10 and ascent apex10, or a basecamp or element ecto is where id start looking. I've heard the coyote is fantastic! but from my garage the each of these rigs reminds me every time i drive them just how awesome they are

I like the looks of the element stuff...and the price tag of the smaller scale stuff, lol. 1/10 is a big jump money wise....probably why I haven't got 1 just yet

That's why I call my big stuff my "Closeout Collection".
I have a Losi Hammer Rey, 2 SCX10-III Broncos, an SCX10-II Deadbolt, SCX10-III Coyote, and a Redcat Wendigo. All were bought for under $300 each prior to being discontinued. I don't need latest/greatest and I can get parts for all of 'em. If I didn't get all these "Super Sale" emails I might not own any of them!
