Well that past weekend was not bad at all, beautiful day to crawl… surprisingly didn’t break anything that day or maybe haven’t found anything broken yet, we’ll see… made a video that day, little to long but here it is…

AWESOME video man. That's one of the best thats been posted. It's so nice to see someone post a video that actually takes the time to shoot and edit a high quality video. I don't even watch the grainy crap that a lot of people post, and I don't see how they aren't embarrased to post it.

That's a really nice Super as well. Welcome to RCNT! I hope you find it to be a peaceful environment around here, especially if you're on some of the other forums. You couldn't ask for a better group of guys. Take a look around, and if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a PM.

Oh yea, the video is not too long. No crawling video with image quality like that is too long. I just watched it twice.

cool video and yeah great quaility, i will defend those video that havnt been edited and sh!t cuz not everyone knows how to do that so i will still watch them.

Thank you guys, it is very encouraging, makes me feel to make more of those, got couple different rig in possession and many ideas how to view them, so just wait and see.
Thanks again!

Looks like cool fun :). Nicely done Video too, and great background music - can't beat a bit of Faithless :)

Watched alot of crawler vids. That is one hell of a rig alright. I know its a super but seriously is there anything that'll stop it.
Awesome video....

It's not the editing and such that I was speaking of. It's the guys who take video and the cameras shaking so bad you can't see the rig, or the quality is so bad that the video is actually pixelated. I just wont watch a video of a crawler if I have to strain to see the crawler.

Lloyd, your cell phone video was much better the other day that a lot of the stuff on youtube.

I was planning to either build a scaler, a Berg, or a Super next. I couldn't make the decision, and I ended up deciding on all three

My trailfinder is on the way, I'm ordering my Berg axles now, and I'm going to be ordering a Super later this week or maybe next week. This video helped to seal the deal. The Super will just be for having fun, I'm not planning to compete with it anytime soon, and I really want to build it into a tuber.

That was a GREAT video! I haven't watched too many crawler videos, but that one was awesome. That is a killer rig too. I'm not sure what the difference between a 'super' and the other types of crawlers out there are, but that thing was going over stuff that I thought "there is no way". :D

the super is really big compared to all of our ax10's mrclean so its kinda like a big ass tmaxx compared to a stampede.

The supers use maxx size wheels and tires and have a wheelbase of 14-18 inches usually. The 2.2 class rigs have a max wheelbase of 12.5 inches, have 2.2 wheels and tires, and no rear steer is allowed. Rear steer isn't needed with the short wheelbase anyway, and front dig offers a much tighter turning radius than rear steer does.

The reason that his rig was handling stuff like it was is because it's properly dialed in. The 2.2 rigs will blow you away at the obstacles they can climb just as well. Once you start crawling you learn the balance points of your rig and push it to the absoulte edge and beyond. To me thats why crawling is so much fin. You get just as big of a rush of adrenaline crawling as you do going around a track at 60 mph, but its also relaxing at the same time, and you can do it while holding your beer and sitting in a lawnchair on the back porch.

That video also shows the use of front and rear dig really good. Mr. Clean, if you watch his rig crawling, watch how the front and rear wheels are controlled independently of each other. That's a BIG part of why the rig can crawl like it does, and thats why dig is mandatory in a comp rig. Also, he's running a very low COG. That low COG is why the Axials are being phased out for Berg type rigs on the comp circuit.
