Hello folks,

I have a Scorpion and a rooster ESC on the way and I am wondering which motor is the way to go. This is my first electric in soooo long I don't know where to start. I have seen that Integy Lathe motors are very popular but there ar 6 or 7 models. Any suggestions? I am looking for something that will give me a little run time with a little horsepower.

With a crawler you dont want speed, you want torque. So in my Clod based crawler I am running a pair of Integy Lathe 55 turn motors, off a Novak Super Duty XR speed control. But it still gets around pretty decent in the yard even with the 55s in there.

I just whent big and got the brushless novac system cost me a pretty penny but the last motor was a 55 turn that ran me 19.00 and was killer and did the job great!!!!!!!!!!

go brushless... i have no recommendations, but look into it =)
