Couple of questions.

Couple of questions for you body guys.
I’m going to apply Velcro to the bottom of the body sides to attach it to the stone guards on my Muggy build. Apply Velcro before or after paint?
What’s the best self adhesive Velcro (½ inch wide) out there for this purpose?

Window tint, I’ve read all the bad reviews on rattle can tint and was wondering if I: masked the windows, paint, remove mask and apply 1:1 window tint? Anyone try this (I’m sure someone has)?

I put mine on after paint, unless you painted the outside then the point is moot.

I've used rattle-can tint, I think it's ok I just tried to make it as even as possible.
The body I used it on came with window masks, so I applied them first painted the body, used a sealer, then removed the window masks, and sprayed it until I thought it looked even enough.

I used the sealer, cause the place that I got the paint said that some window tints will eat at the paint.

There's window film made specifically for lexan that is supposed to be removable, I may give it a try and if it doesn’t suite me then I may attempt the rattle can tint.

What’s a good brand of Velcro with good adhesion?

I actually use the Scotch branded All Weather Fasteners. It is just one style and doesn't use male and female sides. It works great holding the sides of my mERV and my Losi Micro SCT shells to the sides of the chassis.

I'm testing the Command Brand picture hanging strips. They're just plastic interlocking fingers. The one I have now are rated for 16lbs. So far so good.
