As some of you know i wrecked my mugen mbx-4,so as i've been ordering parts i got to wondering, what is needed to convert this to a truggy,Do i need to change the chassis?different arms or shocks? And what are the basic guidelines for making a truggie,as in motor size and what not.

Thx Joe

Here is what you need to convert the MBX5.
This might help to give you an idea.

1) MSRX5T Long Chassis

2) New long center drive shaft

3) Graphite upper diff plate

4) Graphite radio tray

5) Brake cam

6) Spur gear (62T)

7) Spur gear adapter

8) Alum wheel hub adapters

9) Alum front body mounts

10) Alum rear body mounts

11) Alum center diff mount spacers

12) Alum throttle servo spacer blocks

13) Proline Velocity wheels

14) Proline Bow-Tie tires and foam

15) Monster truck body

sorry for sounding stuiped here, but i've never owned a buggy or truggie all i know is that at our local racing club, the talk seems to be about truggies. Now i bought this buggy for my son to race and i wrecked it on him the first day out and i have to fix it before spring hits.
So is that list up there a conversion kit for the mbx-5,or is that just some mods that help the building process. My son and i will rebuild this together and it will be a learning process for both of us(hope he can handle me and my fits). Our LHS here don't really carry parts for those things here so most will be ordered over the internet.

Thx again.

Thats the conversion.
I figured that would give you an idea.
I never had a mugen before other than the mbx 5 truggy.
So I don't know what you would need.

from what i've found by looking around for parts is that it would be easier to convert this mbx4 to a mbx5,just because most parts are discontinued for the mbx4,and i need to buy and new chassis anyways(bent the other one)so to upgrade to a mbx5 or a truggie sound like pretty good.So thanks for that list,i will try to merge the two.::)

Are the MBX 4 and 5 compatible at all??
Arms, drive train, anything the same??
If yes, might be a good time to truggy it for sure.
