It’s pretty slow, has brushed motors, and runs on an 8 cell nicd.

possible .. 3 cell lipo...with all your skills should be easy 4 u
What esc and transmitter could I use that constantly runs one motor, but the other two on different channels?

You need an air radio with a throttle channel and elvon mixing

Throttle would be lift. Up is go faster, down slower and left/right thrust differential.
Elvon mixing takes two channels and allows them to move together or move in opposite directions

Probably would be just better off getting another hobby car. Anything that i converted to hobby grade keeps breaking. RIP
It’s a hovercraft not a car, lol. Also, it fills the skirt with air and it acts like a bumper.

it would be a fun conversion...maybe a million utube hits
Maybe… It will be very interesting to do, I just can’t figure out how to disassemble it though!

check under the skirt
I removed the screws, but the skirt is connected to the base, I don’t want to damage the skirt.
