what wire gauage do i use for my reciever? i wan't to just get a big spool of it from wall-mart so i always have spare. or is there something differn't then the wire you get from the hobby shop?

Gauge is not important for the antenna as the current in the wire is minimal. What is important is that you replace the original wire with a new piece of exactly the same length.
 
guage is important if you want it to fit in that damn tube!! lol i have the hardest time with that1!!!
