I have a set of small cooling fans that I pulled out of some dead electronics I had laying around. I have been able to find their operating voltage and then got the bright idea of setting them up on my T-maxx. But, I know the engine is supposed to run around certain temps and wondered if the engine could run too cool?

Also, has anyone else thought of this idea?

I will post pics of a rough set up of it so I can get everyone's input.

Thanks,
Adam

The fans are more common on electrics. People like to put them over their ESC's. Just to get a little more aire movement as they can get very hot.

If a nitro engine is over-heating, it's either tuned lean or is sucking air from somewhere it shouldn't. Air holes in the body, in front and back of the engine, should be sufficient. Unless it's 105 degrees outside.
