Being an old dude, I typically buy whatever I really want throughout the year. Which means most gifts i get are generally unimpressive. Honestly though, I really don't even c
need birthday or Xmas gifts, but it is tradition and what we do, right?
This year, however, with the help of a friend (who truly gets me) my wife got me a really cool gift!

We like @Xraycer , are old enough that we just buy stuff for each other throughout the year and don't really need anything for Christmas. We still enjoy the season, food, music, and just good cheer in general.

One of my favorite gifts is getting to chill here with you guys. Seriously, you guys make my day, every day. Thanks for sharing in the rc adventure with me. 😍

I got a 2 cylinder stirling engine thst I just can't get to start lmao, I put a heavy nitro flywheel on it for more inertia but haven't tested that yet. I also have one new kinda glue kit, game lethal company, shirts, and very handy wrench (this is its last footage)

So, what did you get?
That's as cool as it gets.

I got a well deserved lump of coal. No wait, after further inspection, it turns out it wasn't coal at all, I was down graded to a rock.

Good to see you. Hope you at least got to spend time with the grand kiddos. Breydon just left last night after being here a week. We had a fun visit.

In amongst the usual soft packages (always needed stuff I never buy) came an Anthony Schmidt 2024 Calendar. Young man specializes in iphone model photography. The way he presents them, it's hard to believe they're models. Welcome addition to the workshop for sure.

I follow him on Instagram
His photos are insane and very cool

Yes they are. My Grote 335 has the GFS Dream 90s and they are incredible. I'm hoping these are close, they should be because they are Alnico 5s.
