My nephew (5 yrs old) has taken a liking to my Kraton 6S. He drives pretty well for his age so I'm going to convert an old Ofna Hyper 7 PBS to electric for him to drive.

He refers to 4S as the "Baby battery" already so I was thinking of buying another stock 6S Blx 185 and 2050 kv motor to put into the Hyper 7. I ordered the Integy conversion kit (sorry I can't post links yet) that holds 540/550 cans. Will the 2050kv fit in that mount? The H7 has the original Spyder gear diff setup. It should be fast enough on 4S with the right pinion, is 6 too much? Is there a better budget system that would keep the young speedster happy running his new buggy with the Kraton?

If it were for me? I'd say let's go! But he's 5. I'm looking to keep the cost down. The stock Arrma setup would cost about $150. A higher kv motor might be a better idea. That's kind of what I need to figure out. Thanks for the quick response!

I've had two of the BLX 185 ESC burn out on me. I have replaced them with the BLX 200 and had no problems with them.

I didn't even know the 200 existed. I'll look into a pairing that has this included if possible. Thank you!

She's come a long way since then.
