Control Problem

Hello guys

i have a savage 3.5 which i have done some stuff to but i now have another problem.

when i bought it it came with a futaba 3pm-fm controler.

However now it wont hold charge, when you turn it on it drains instantly, so you turn it on with 11v then within a minute or two it goes down to 8.4 then goes to ERROR LOW BATTERY.

What could be causing this? what can i do about it?

Sounds like it's time for a new transmitter battery pack.

the pack in the controller you mean? its a sealed unit, if i take the bottom of the controller is the pack changeable?

you should be able to take the bottom off and remove the pack. if you have a charger that will handle it, i would try cycling it a few times before you give up on it.

Using a charger to discharge and recharge the battery under controlled conditions.
