This one if for all those people out there who DO NOT BELIEVE a Nitro powered Radio-Controlled model can go 100 MPH or more.

Watch the small, LED radar in the right hand corner to be proved wrong.

PS: This is so just a joke. But the vid is really cool IMO.

Actually I read about this about a year and a half ago in a mag. Its one of the oldest forms of rc's. If I rember right they top out at 100. I think the fastest one was like 107mph. I think its pretty sweet too. Id like to see that string snap when its going around though, that make things interisting.

OUCH. That would really suck. From what the site and others like it say they actually top at at around 190ish.

I used to drive to Sturgis ever year for a week or so and spend my vacation time ogling the bikes. There used to be this guy that would ride a dirt bike or a scale bike around this wooden wall, horizontal to the ground. One year he wiped out pretty bad. I would have to relate something like that to the video. If that thing were to go loose, it would cause some major damage.

Ya isnt that called the wall of death. I've seen it on discovery before pretty sick.

Gotta read all the comments... amazing what some people will put in writing!

Its not a Rc car, but none the less is pretty cool.

Um...they use a two channel remote to increase the throttle the only thing NOT controlled by a radio is the steering, which has to be set at a predetermined angle to cause absolutely no friction with the driving surface. They use the radio to set the trim up and then leave it to sit there, while lightly pressing the throttle until WOT. They then use the centrifugal force to propel the model faster and faster...Until 200 MPH

I was under the impression it was like them planes that run on the wire like this. Theres no remote controls for them either..
I posted this same exact link about a year ago, and I wasn't really impressed then, nor am I now.. Its allright but its going around in a 25 ft circle..yipeeeeee!!

I thought they just went full throttle till they ran out of fuel... Would be almost pointless to have throttle control, and even moreso to call it RC.

Thats the way I thought it was (and was told the last time I posted this). Sounds like it too..

Yes, i think they just fill up the tank and go till they run dry... Haven't heard the "theater Car" thing but I can believe thats what it is called.

just like them old cox buggies (vw) i had one, fuel it up and let it go until it crashes or runs out of gas....man i hated chasing that thing...when i could get it to run i was a very little kid...lol

i seen that vid before. I always wonder what fun they get out of standing there holding full throttle while there car goes really fast. It must get really boring
