why does it always come down to this? http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0161p?&I=LZ1815

I love how people always tell me their buggys is the best and knock someone else for saying the same about theirs, then to turn right around and say all buggies are the same pretty much if you use the same gearing and engine. It's just funny how that works. wtf is in the water down under? Fosters?

Lol, hmmm, Where was the Kyosho in the national Gas Championships when the Storm took first place laps in front of everyone else??

Are you serious? Kyosho has dominated WORLDWIDE for the better part of a decade. I am not a Kyosho (prefer Mugen) lover but you have to give them the respect they have earned. After all, they make the second best buggy available (of course mine's the best, LOL).
I know you are proud of your buggy but that last statement even got me. And btw, wasn't like some shithead was driving it. Marty Korn is a good driver and the engine he was running is one of, if not the best buggy engine made. He won the race by less than a lap, and Chad Bradley was on his way to winning the race had he not flamed out.
If you're gonna talk poop, at least get your poop straight.

Yeah agreed razorback.
Who gives a rats rear end about who wins races anyway? Right it helps to win a race without losing parts along the way, unlike with SOME buggies, but mostly any buggy will win a race in the hands of the right drivers. If it were about races, these old ferno's are on their err 5th, 6th, 7th? man I've lost count.... but these things have more IFMAR's under under their belt than the amount of years GS has even been in business. Thats aside all the other champs Kyosho has taken out over time... with either Burns or Inferno's. Wild guess there.. but you get my drift. Like I said though, who cares. If GS had all the trophies instead, i'd still have my Kyosho - for what it is, not what its got under its belt.

humbolt - you were saying buggy X was faster, buggy Y was more durable, but buggy Z was the fastest. Something along those lines. I kindly pointed out to you, that speed had little to do with anything in terms of buggy vs buggy - and that speed is based on engine gear. I didn't say you buy any buggy, and with the same gear as the next it will be the same thing....
If my previous posts didnt spell it, I'm not going to bother trying anymore. :coffee:

and to think I said my previous post was going to be my last.

pull the boomerange out! Speed has SO many more aspects rather than just a engine, pipe, and gears. Let me school you real quick: Weight: The overall weight of a vehicle not only effects it's acceleration it effect what lines and how much power you can hold through turns. CG: This stands for Center of Gravity: What this means is how low your weight is distributed to the ground of the overall buggy weight. A higer CG is not as good as a lower CG as turning accounts for so much much of the race in a 1/8 scale buggy battle. But you knew all this as you are the buggy expert so I will let you expand on the whole topic. It really shows how smart you are when I say a faster buggy and you immediateley say its all engine and gears. So to put it simply for you a K 7.5 is a little faster with it's lower CG than a Storm Pro with the exact same gearing and engine. I don't believe you even race as you would know a little more about the subject. But snce your in Austrialia (and have changed your username since our first battles) I cannot prove you don't race but it is obvious to me.

Humbolt-Can a Low CG/Lightweight buggy with a .12 and a poopy pipe beat say...(Hypothetically)...My Ofna MBX With a RB WS7 or maybe a O.S. VO1B...with a THS Tuned pipe and Motor savers Air Filter and Geared for top speed.
I highly doubt it.
Speed is this:
THE DRIVER

You are so right Silent! I was basing my facts on that the drivers skills would be equal so we could talk actuall buggy instead of confusing the subject with more varibles like driver skill, track conditions, ect.

WTF is your point? So what if it was his last so called post? Makes no mind to me. I did read that comment so what is your point?

not really to be honest, Ijust have a problem with letting myself get sucked in and keeping it going, I do take responsability for that. Have I ever even argued with you one time FRB? The answer is no, and why? because your a cool laid back guy that knows his stuff and doesn't try and dominate the thread with your opinion. Granted I have found myself guilty of that exact thing but I have changed my ways as I no longer try to persuade anyone (just to let you know I have Jedi powers and can persuade weak minds). You'll notice that ALL the people you find me arguing are the same type of people. I do enjoy being right though and cannot deny that.

Damn this weak mind!!! So my Storm was no more than a Jedi trick?? Damn you Blazer!!

no no.. I love my Storm!! I dont wanna fire up any emotions here or anything.. but... Most peeps at the track that check my Storm out and see that it's all stock.. They are shocked and impressed.. Not saying its the best in the world.. but you have to admit its one hell of a bang for the buck! I have found nobody to disagree with that point.. Peace!!

yep. that's for sure. Everbody at my track either has gotten one or wants to get one, as most were running Ofna's until I started racing. Mine has a little too much $ into it though.

That makes me think of the movie Signs when the kids have the aluminum foil hats on so the aliens can't read their minds. :\

Just busting your balls a bit. Not bitchin', I get a kick out of reading you guys (not singling you out) go at it. Now, let me go find my aluminum hat.......
