I run GS dual rate springs. I run soft maing springs in the front with medium short (top) springs. In the rear I run medium main springs with hard shorts.

In buggies I kinda match the oil to the spring setup.

speed bumps arent good jumps and that's your problem.

This is true. I had thought about taking her off some insane T-Maxx killing jump but seeing my new toy with parts making a beautiful arc across the sky doesn't see like too much fun, wait did I just say arc of parts. Let me find a real jump and we'll see.

Correction, pieces of parts.

:wban: That's a cool smile. It has nothing to do with this post but it was still a cool smile. I will try to break it, just for spite.

Hey we gots a new smilie
Nice way to scare the crap outta me bud! No comment. Who owns the camera that you make videos with?

Silent - he doesn't get it yet. Yet!

El - Really man, go and take it off a mans jump, like try jump 1:1 cars with it or something of the such. Trust me!!!!!!!!!!

Speed bump are the worst thing to try and jump, such a sissy jump. And you say you break everything you touch  Launch it off a jump atleast 3 feet tall!!

I have one but I think it's dead, however Sky has one, but he's been really busy lately, as well as Error, but Error lives 5 hours away. Hopefully this coming weekend we'll make a cool video of my inferno going down like a blazing inferno. :D

I for one dont joke around with silent anymore because last time I said something slightly out of place (as a complete and utter joke.. and i thought that was fairly obvious :hehe: ) he took it fairly seriously....

But that aside.... I agree with him in what he's said.... if el pirata is the master of breakage, whats with jumping the speedbump?

man trust me.... these buggies (especially yours) will take a lot more beating than a sissy maxx before it gives up.

get a real ramp, and get some real air. see where your hard earned money actually went.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but i've been psycho jumping for a little while now - and I can tell you that a little engineering in the ramp department goes a long way - as opposed to (imo) a lot of engineering in the car department going not-so-far in terms of solving the problem.

-edit-
here's a sample. I know you've seen these silent, but i havent seen these other guys on maxxtraxx/hpi so i'd guess you guys haven't.

The ramp:

The air:

what was that about actions speaking louder than words, below? :hammer: hehe

I understand completely where you are coming from, however the speed bump is not what I would call a jump but it was where I was testing my new toy at. Actions speak louder than words...

I just didn't have one of those jumps at my disposal this weekend. I'll find one this coming weekend so Sky, my roommate and I can go bashing. Maybe put my little buggy to the real test.

As crazy as we get with our MTs, uDi, we have never quite launched them to the heights that your buggy pictures show. THAT is some impressive air, and I for one am anxious to see if Pirata can both break his buggy and catch some air like that at the same time.

Pirata, you know I don't go bashing without the camera. It will be there.

I'm totally humbled here. I hope I can get some air like that when we're out bashing and don't break it on the first try. I know how Sky films and the camera does not come out until after my trucks are broken. :D

Udi- What was the damage after that jump in ur pic? And what buggy is that?

Do u land on ur tires? There has to be some minimal damage.

Even if you land tires first....theres no way you can keep the body from slamming into the ground. Theres not enough ground clearance.
