if your high reving your engine off the ground.. probly you main cause of problems.. if they are snaps to lvl out on a big jump that is fine, flooring the rig to "test" is a engine killer, and if you seen gell at the tip of your stinger I'm sure there is residue in your carb and engine
 
well when it's too rich it bogs while holding it in the air.... That's how I try to find the sweet spot, so it won't over rev in the air unless it's running lean enough to rev out.
 
its best to always do that on the ground man, better safe then sorry ya no??
