i bout my first rc car tmaxx 3.3 and its winter and 30 degrees here can i break it in in the cold or should i heat my dads garage whitch is pretty big

It can be done but in my opinion would be much harder to control the temperatures when cold outside. Personally I would not do it, I would just wait for the temperature to be warmer.

Here outside temps often reach -22F so for me R/C in the winter is out of the question. And breaking in the engine in a garage does not leave you much space, unless you use the idle method which I personally do not like.

Anyways, if you want my advice, just wait :\

30 degree's isent that bad anything less then that i would wait also, i prefer not to rununder 40 degree's but if your gonna do it, take some tin foil fold it over 1 or 2 times and wrap it around the head, get the engine hot and check the temp if you can get it to stay up then you should be fine, if its below 210 i would wait, breaking in a engine that you can't get up to about 230-260 degrees isent a good idea, and you do have a infared temp gauge right? if not get one before the break in..

My opinion, wait until it warms up. The break in is the most important part of owning an RC, And if you screw it up, your engine will not last, nor hold a tune very well.

Running a nitro indoors isn't the best idea, either. Exhaust is toxic. In my opinion, 50 degrees or above outside where you can do it right.

well its snowy but it is 47 out can i just get the wheels off the ground then do normal break in
