Clutch Tuning Question

How do I know if my clutch is in the right setting ? Is it too hard to light ? What can I do to get it to a base setting ?

If the car moves when throttle is applied, then its working.
What kind of clutch is it?
If you don't know, what does it look like?
Does the truck move??
Does the engine wine, and not move?
Does it wine, and then move?
Does it always move even at idle?
Do you not have it on the engine and your installing??
Comon with the vaigue questions.
Tell me what it is, or is not doing and I'll try to help.

its not that i don't like newbies, I just don't like it when people ask for details and you mouth off. When you ask a question make it a direct question, and if you don't know what the "thingy" is then take a picture and use it in your post. This place is great for noobs.

Hey Pink I'ma noob here too but have not had any problems ever getting a question answered. Just provide some details, there's so much variety in these cars and trucks one vague question could have a thousand different answers. Just don't take offense when people ask for more detail.

There's a lot of newbies here on the forum. I was one of them a little over a year ago. You just have to be more specific with questions since it's hard to diagnose a problem when the actual car is not present.

There are so many variables with clutch engagement. Just be patient and try to be more specific as well as being more patient when people kinda rip ya on the board.It's all in good humor (most of the time). It's those that take things to heart and put more insight into the posts that are actually meant, that cause things to go "south" and wind up in the FFA.

After all, there's a bunch of "screw thingies" on these cars Lots of info and help are available in the archives as well as members experiences.

The Best way is keep it direct & simple
Now you have to decide also if it is the clutch or if it is the tune setup on the motor.
If your motor is running rich lean it out sometimes people don't realize it shifted & it just shifted real early. So just got back to the normal settings if that might be the problem
