How can you tell if your clutch is toast ? Cuz right now mine is reving to about 6,000-7,000 RPM and it should kick in but it just revs then if i wait 5-6 seconds it all of a sudden just clicks in and starts going intil i slow down again and then it does the same thing ! When it does this it sounds like the clutch isn't flying out and grabing the CB ! Can anyone help ???

Hey, maybe your gears are stripped on the transmition or the clutch bell. I have the same thing happen to me, it would rev out then grab and rocket off.
Look carefuly at you gears.
Hope this might help.
Or maybe the spring is broken. Take it apart and find out if you can see anything. That is the best way.

Thanks ! I'll check ! I just Replaced my Spur gear so i know thats not dead but i'll have to check out the Clutch Shoes and the gears in the Transmision !could it also be that i didn't tighten my slipper enough and it won't grab the spur gear ?Well i'll check everything over tonight or tomorow some time.

First, Check the slipper and the clutch shoes and bell. Wore out parts make it for that.

Second, check the driveline. There may be a drive shaft spun, or a differential that's going out.

Third, rip appart the tranny, and see if that's it.

Those are (in my opinion) the easiest to check in order. Mine did that when the spur was stripping. Also check your motor and tranny for movement, it's possible. :)

Good luck in finding it.

Well said. I agree with that checking system. I will also follow it when I have problems next time. That is a good order.
